Assistant/Associate Professor – Healthcare Management

About the role

The University of Doha for Science and Technology (UDST) seeks an Assistant or Associate Professor in Healthcare Management to teach its undergraduate Healthcare Management program and the Executive Master of Health Administration (EMHA). The role involves delivering courses, supervising research and engaging with industry partners to enrich the learning experience.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, deliver and assess courses covering Health Economics, Health Insurance and Financing, Health Systems, and Health Informatics and Data Analytics for both undergraduate and graduate programs.
• Evaluate student progress, manage learning resources, and maintain accreditation documentation.
• Collaborate with industry advisory committees, coordinate projects, and build partnerships with health sector organizations.
• Supervise high‑caliber research students and contribute to the College’s professional and community activities.

Required profile

• PhD (and a Master’s) in Healthcare Management, Health Administration, Health Economics, Health Informatics, Public Health or a related discipline from an internationally recognised university.
• For Assistant Professor: minimum 3 years of post‑secondary teaching experience and preferably 3 years of professional experience in the health sector; for Associate Professor: minimum 8 years of teaching experience and a distinguished research record.
• Evidence of high‑quality publications in top‑tier journals and a record of supervising research students.
• Demonstrated leadership in building industry engagement and partnerships.
