Assistant/Associate/Professor of Mathematics (Full-time)

About the role

The Department of Mathematics and Statistics at Qatar University is seeking an Assistant, Associate or full Professor to join its faculty. The position is full‑time and based in Doha, Qatar, and will contribute to teaching, research and professional activities within the College of Arts and Sciences.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver undergraduate and graduate courses in Mathematics, Applied Statistics, Actuarial Mathematics and related subjects.
• Develop and supervise research projects, seeking both intramural and extramural funding.
• Participate in departmental service, curriculum development and academic committees.

Required profile

• PhD in Mathematics, Statistics, Applied Statistics or a closely related field.
• At least a bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline.
• Minimum of one month of relevant academic experience.
