Associate Director – Cyber Security

About the role

The Associate Director will shape and execute KPMG Qatar's go‑to‑market strategy for cyber security, lead the development of internal service offerings, and act as the technical and client‑facing lead on major projects across Qatar and the GCC.

Key responsibilities

• Lead multiple cyber security programs, managing cross‑functional teams and ensuring high‑quality delivery.
• Define and drive commercial strategy to meet aggressive revenue targets and expand market presence.
• Identify, qualify and close new business with government agencies, large enterprises and system integrators.
• Build strategic alliances with OEMs, distributors and technology partners.
• Lead high‑stakes client negotiations, proposal development, solution design and pricing.
• Present technical reports and strategic findings to senior stakeholders.
• Collaborate with R&D and regional Centers of Excellence to integrate XDR, Zero Trust and Deception technologies.
• Oversee project implementation, risk management and client satisfaction.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Engineering, Business Administration or related field.
• Minimum 15 years of cyber security/IT services experience, including 5+ years in senior commercial or technical leadership in Qatar.
• Proven track record closing large‑scale deals with government and enterprise clients.
• Strong interpersonal, analytical and strategic thinking skills; ability to influence C‑level executives.
• Fluency in English (C1+); Arabic proficiency is a strong advantage.
