Associate Procurement Sourcing (IT Hardware and Software)

About the role

QNB, Qatar National Bank, is hiring an Associate Procurement Sourcing specialist for IT hardware and software, with a focus on Qatarization. The role supports the source-to-contract process: defining scopes of work and issuing RFQs/RFPs, analysing supplier bids and negotiating, validating selections, and helping draft supplier contracts in line with Group Legal. It also involves maintaining the vendor panel and database.

Key responsibilities

• Implement KPIs and best practices for the role, promoting cost consciousness and efficiency while acting within delegated powers.
• Support internal customers with procurement requests and follow the Source-to-Contract process in line with category strategies and panels.
• Contribute to the analysis of large or complex requests and help develop RFPs, then issue them, negotiate and select suppliers.
• Evaluate supplier bids together with the requesting department or expense owner, validate the final vendor selection and rationale, and keep SLAs with internal units.
• Provide accurate data to auditors, compliance, financial control and risk teams, and give input to the Manager and VP Procurement Sourcing on process improvements.
• Take part in KPI reporting, comply with Group Procurement Policies and all legal, regulatory and compliance requirements (AML & CTF, sanctions, data protection, fraud control, conflict of interest, insider dealing), and act under the Three Lines of Defence framework.
• Complete mandatory training, protect confidential information, and carry out ad hoc tasks requested by management.

Required profile

• University graduate (Bachelor's degree), preferably in a related field.
• No experience required; this is an entry-level role.
