Associate - Quality Analysis

About the role

The Associate – Quality Analysis will ensure that software products meet defined quality standards through systematic testing and defect management. You will work closely with cross‑functional teams to validate functionality, performance, and compliance with company and industry guidelines.

Key responsibilities

• Design, execute, and document manual test cases and scenarios across functional, regression, integration, system and UAT testing.
• Identify, log, and track defects using bug‑tracking tools such as JIRA, Azure DevOps or Bugzilla.
• Perform API testing with Postman or similar REST clients and conduct database validation using basic SQL queries.
• Support automation testing activities at a basic to intermediate level.
• Verify fixes, conduct regression testing and maintain accurate test result records.
• Collaborate with development and product teams to resolve quality issues and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology or a related field.
• At least 1 year of experience in software testing or a related discipline.
• Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail and ability to work both independently and within a team.

Required skills

• Manual test case design and execution.
• Bug tracking tools (JIRA, Azure DevOps, Bugzilla).
• Functional, regression, integration, system and UAT testing.
• API testing using Postman or similar tools.
• Basic SQL for database validation.
• Automation testing (basic to intermediate).
• Test management tools (e.g., Zephyr).
• Understanding of SDLC and STLC.
• Cross‑browser, cross‑platform, and mobile (Android/iOS) testing.
