Azure Platform Administrator

About the role

Madre Integrated Engineering is looking for an Azure Platform Administrator in Doha to administer and maintain Microsoft Azure cloud infrastructure and platform services. The role covers subscription and governance management, deployment of core Azure services, monitoring, backup and recovery, and support for cloud migration and modernization.

Key responsibilities

• Manage Azure subscriptions, resource groups, policies and governance frameworks.
• Deploy, configure and support Azure Virtual Machines, Virtual Networks, Storage Accounts and Load Balancers.
• Implement and manage identity and access control with Azure Active Directory (Microsoft Entra ID).
• Monitor performance, availability and security with Azure Monitor and Log Analytics.
• Configure backup, recovery and disaster recovery with Azure Backup and Azure Site Recovery.
• Implement network security controls such as NSGs, Azure Firewall, VPN Gateways and Private Endpoints.
• Automate tasks with PowerShell, Azure CLI, ARM templates or IaC tools.
• Support cloud migration, modernization and optimization, troubleshoot incidents and coordinate with application and infrastructure teams.
• Ensure compliance with security, governance and operational standards, and provide documentation and knowledge transfer.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or a related field.
• 5-8 years of IT infrastructure administration experience, including at least 3 years of hands-on Azure administration.
• Mandatory Microsoft Azure Administrator Associate (AZ-104) certification.
• Experience managing production Azure environments.
