Banquet Operations Manager

About the role

The Banquet Operations Manager is responsible for delivering the highest level of service during events, ensuring every function runs smoothly and meets guest expectations. This full‑time role oversees all aspects of banquet preparation, execution, and post‑event activities at our Doha location.

Key responsibilities

• Manage banquet operations, including departmental inventories, assets, and equipment maintenance.
• Control liquor costs and maintain the banquet beverage perpetual inventory using beverage records.
• Set function rooms according to Banquet Event Orders (BEOs) and conduct pre‑event inspections.
• Lead monthly department meetings, maintain attendance logs, and enforce cleanliness and sanitation standards.
• Project supply needs, order china, glass, silverware, buffet presentations, and other service equipment.
• Schedule and forecast banquet service staff to meet service standards while maximizing profitability.
• Participate in daily stand‑up, BEO, pre‑con, and other relevant meetings; act as liaison between banquet and kitchen teams.
• Deliver exceptional customer service, gather guest feedback, and resolve complaints promptly.

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED.
• Minimum of 2 years experience in event management, food and beverage, or a related professional area.
