Barback – Bar Support

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Barback to support our bartending team at La Cigale Hotel. You will help ensure smooth service by preparing the bar, restocking supplies and maintaining a clean environment.

Key responsibilities

• Assist bartenders with preparation and service support.
• Restock beverages, glassware, garnishes and bar supplies.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar and storage areas.
• Wash and polish glassware and bar equipment as required.
• Collect and dispose of empty bottles, waste and used items.
• Assist with receiving, storing and rotating beverage inventory.
• Support opening and closing bar duties.
• Follow hygiene, safety and company standards.
• Provide assistance to the service team during busy periods.

Required profile

• Previous hospitality, café or restaurant experience preferred.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Physically fit and able to stand for extended periods.
• Fast, reliable and organized.
• Attention to cleanliness and detail.
• Professional grooming and a positive attitude.
• Flexibility to work shifts, weekends and public holidays.
