BCP Consultant – Manager, Operational Resilience (Onsite, Qatar)

About the role

The Manager, Operational Resilience will lead the development, maintenance and execution of the organisation’s Business Continuity Management (BCM) programme, ensuring robust processes and plans are in place to respond to and recover from disruptions.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain an organisation‑wide BCM framework covering disaster recovery, business recovery and emergency response across all divisions.
• Manage crisis management procedures, activate recovery plans, restore critical operations and coordinate with managers and stakeholders.
• Design and maintain data backup and recovery plans, assess backup sites (including off‑site locations) and ensure they meet resilience and availability standards.
• Communicate with inter‑dependent divisions to identify and resolve business continuity issues and act as the primary contact for continuity queries.
• Identify inter‑dependencies, conduct risk assessments, and coordinate implementation of continuity and disaster recovery plans.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in Business Continuity Management, operational resilience, crisis management or disaster recovery.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and decision‑making abilities, especially under pressure.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills across multiple business divisions.
