About the role
The BMS Operator is responsible for performing preventive and corrective maintenance on building management systems, supporting the team, and contributing to departmental improvement initiatives.
Key responsibilities
- Execute assigned Planned Preventive Maintenance (PPM) tasks accurately and on schedule.
- Carry out corrective maintenance tasks promptly and ensure high‑quality workmanship.
- Assist subcontractors with their assigned work and report any defects, breakdowns, or damages to the Fault Reporting Center or engineering staff.
- Maintain tools, test equipment, and report spare‑part requirements.
- Follow duty rosters, health‑safety procedures, and company standards, and escalate equipment or tool shortages to the line manager.
Required profile
- ITI Certificate/Diploma or equivalent.
- Knowledge of relevant regulations such as OSHA, MSDS, NFPA, and BS.
- Strong problem‑solving abilities and capacity to work under tight deadlines.
- Team‑oriented mindset.
Required skills
- Familiarity with safety and regulatory standards (OSHA, MSDS, NFPA, BS).
