BMS Technician – Building Management Systems

About the role

The company is seeking an experienced BMS Technician to support facility management and building automation projects across Qatar. The role covers installation, commissioning, operation, maintenance and troubleshooting of Building Management Systems and HVAC controls.

Key responsibilities

• Installation & commissioning of BMS hardware and software for HVAC, lighting and other building services.
• Configure and wire sensors, actuators, controllers and control panels; perform system testing, functional verification and commissioning.
• Monitor HVAC equipment (AHU, FCU, chillers, ventilation) through the BMS, track alarms, trends and generate daily operation logs.
• Diagnose and rectify faults in BMS and HVAC systems; repair DDC panels, sensors, controllers and wiring.
• Work with communication protocols such as BACnet and Modbus and ensure preventive and corrective maintenance.

Required profile

• Diploma/ITI in Electrical, Electronics, HVAC, Instrumentation or related field.
• 3–5 years of hands‑on experience as a BMS Technician, preferably in the Gulf region.
• Experience in facility management or commercial building maintenance is an advantage.
• Fluent English communication skills.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of BMS and HVAC control systems.
• Proficiency with BACnet, Modbus and DDC platforms.
• Ability to install, commission, troubleshoot and maintain sensors, actuators, controllers and wiring.
• Technical reporting and fault diagnosis.
