Budgeting and Reporting Manager

About the role

The Budgeting and Reporting Manager leads the company's budgeting, financial planning, forecasting and reporting activities. The role ensures accurate financial reporting, effective budget management and consolidated financial analysis to support business decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the annual budgeting and forecasting process for the consolidated business and PIH entities
• Coordinate with department heads to collect, review and consolidate budget submissions
• Prepare consolidated monthly, quarterly and annual management reports
• Analyse budget variances and give financial insights and recommendations to senior management
• Develop and maintain financial models for budgeting, forecasting and business planning
• Oversee financial reporting and consolidation, including PIH-related items
• Monitor financial performance, costs and budget utilisation across business units
• Support budgeting and forecasting for EPC/construction projects and analyse trading margins
• Ensure compliance with IFRS, financial regulations and internal policies
• Improve budgeting, reporting processes and financial controls, and coordinate with internal and external auditors
• Present financial reports and recommendations to senior management and stakeholders

Required profile

• 8-10 years of experience in FP&A, budgeting, financial planning or corporate planning
• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting or economics
• Professional qualification such as CPA, ACCA or CA is required
• MBA from a reputable institute is an advantage; GCC experience is an advantage

Required skills

• IFRS, financial consolidation and management reporting
• Advanced financial modelling and Microsoft Excel
• Knowledge of BI tools and ERP systems; SAP knowledge preferred
• Level 4 competencies in budget preparation and reporting, budgeting and financial management, and financial forecasting
