Building Automation Systems Engineer

About the role

The role focuses on the successful implementation and operation of building automation systems, including Building Management Systems (BMS) and HVAC Automation Systems (HAS). The engineer will work closely with designers, engineers, and clients to deliver reliable, efficient automation solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with system designers to develop control software and programming logic based on project specifications.
• Integrate BMS/HAS with HVAC, lighting, security, and fire safety equipment, ensuring seamless communication.
• Configure and program controllers, sensors, actuators, and other network devices.
• Design user‑friendly graphical interfaces and visual representations for operators and facility managers.
• Implement data logging, trend analysis, and reporting to identify energy usage patterns and efficiency improvements.
• Enable secure remote monitoring and control capabilities for centralized management.
• Support commissioning, testing, troubleshooting, and issue resolution.
• Provide training, documentation, and as‑built drawings for operators and maintenance staff.
• Recommend upgrades, stay updated on industry trends, and provide ongoing maintenance support.

Required profile

• Electrical or Computer Science certificate.
• Minimum 4 to 6 years of relevant experience in building automation or control systems.
