Business Analyst – Market Entry & Financial Modeling

About the role

This is a senior Business Analyst position focused on evaluating a strategic re‑entry into the Dubai market for a long‑standing furnishing solutions provider. You will work directly with the client’s CEO and senior advisors to deliver a board‑ready go/no‑go recommendation.

Key responsibilities

• Lead a market‑entry study for the UAE, defining critical success factors and deal‑killers.
• Conduct secondary research (and optional primary outreach) to assess the mid‑market gap between mass‑market and luxury tiers.
• Build and stress‑test a full financial forecast and capital‑requirement model for an initial ~$500K budget.
• Develop a dynamic cash‑flow management tool for day‑to‑day operations over a 12‑18 month horizon.
• Synthesize findings into a concise, board‑ready recommendation and present directly to C‑suite stakeholders.

Required profile

• Background in top‑tier management consulting (ex‑MBB) or investment banking.
• Proven experience delivering market‑entry or growth studies, especially in the GCC region.
• Strong executive presence and comfort advising C‑suite and board members.
• Sector experience in furnishings, interiors, textiles, or retail is a plus.

Required skills

• Advanced financial modeling and FP&A capabilities.
• Ability to design operational finance tools from scratch.
