About the role

The Business Development Executive is responsible for generating new business opportunities and expanding existing accounts. You will research market prospects, understand client needs, and guide them through the sales process until the deal is secured.

Key responsibilities

  • Achieve mutually agreed sales targets by acquiring new customers and growing current accounts.
  • Research business opportunities through the internet, exhibitions, media and other sources.
  • Identify client service requirements and follow through to closure.
  • Study market trends and monitor competitor strengths and weaknesses.
  • Liaise with internal departments to ensure customer requirements are met.
  • Prepare and send proposals in collaboration with the Sales Coordinator.
  • Respond to customer inquiries and resolve payment issues.
  • Promote brand awareness and coordinate contract renewals.
  • Identify areas for sales or operational improvement.
  • Compile sales reports with the Sales Coordinator and attend relevant meetings, conferences, and training.

Required profile

  • Proven ability to meet sales targets and drive revenue growth.
  • Strong research and analytical skills to spot market opportunities.
  • Excellent communication and coordination abilities across departments.
  • Customer‑focused mindset with the capacity to handle inquiries and payment issues.
