Canteen Coordinator

About the role

The Canteen Coordinator will oversee the daily operations of the dining hall and tea pantry at Al Banush Club, ensuring efficient service, high hygiene standards, and excellent customer satisfaction. This role requires close collaboration with kitchen staff and a focus on maintaining a clean, welcoming environment for all patrons.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure smooth and timely service of meals to all customers.
• Monitor service quality and enforce HACCP and food safety standards.
• Handle customer complaints professionally and resolve issues quickly.
• Set up dining hall areas, manage crowd flow, and ensure adequate seating during peak times.
• Coordinate with kitchen staff for timely food replenishment and monitor food temperatures using digital tablets.
• Maintain cleanliness of service areas, utensils, and equipment, and conduct regular compliance checks.
• Maintain daily service logs, attendance records, and report operational issues to management.
• Oversee maintenance of pantry equipment and ensure availability of service items.

Required profile

• Diploma or certification in Hospitality/Catering.
• Minimum three years of experience in industrial catering, camps, or institutional dining.
• HACCP certification.
• Basic first aid and CPR certification.

Required skills

• Knowledge of HACCP and food safety procedures.
• Basic computer skills for reporting and logging.
