Cashier and Category Associate

About the role

We are looking for a friendly and reliable Cashier and Category Associate to join our store team in Doha. You will be the first point of contact for customers, ensuring a smooth checkout experience while maintaining the presentation of the sales floor.

Key responsibilities

• Greet customers and provide a positive shopping experience.
• Process cash, credit, and debit transactions accurately.
• Maintain cash drawer balances and reconcile any discrepancies.
• Stay informed about current sales, promotions, and product information.
• Answer customer inquiries, resolve concerns, and handle complaints.
• Record all sales accurately in the POS system.
• Conduct regular inventory counts and keep records up‑to‑date.
• Keep the store clean, organized, and well‑stocked, including restocking shelves and updating price tags.
• Follow company policies, safety, and security procedures.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous cashier or customer‑service experience preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong math ability and attention to detail.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment and multitask.
• Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed.
• Fluency in Arabic and English.

Required skills

• Basic computer skills.
• Familiarity with cash register systems.
