Chef de Partie

About the role

The Chef de Partie will work within the Marriott Executive Apartments culinary team in Doha, preparing a variety of meals and ensuring high standards of food quality and presentation. This full‑time position involves close collaboration with the Chef and service staff to deliver exceptional dining experiences for guests.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare special meals and substitute items according to recipes, quality and presentation standards.
• Regulate temperature of ovens, broilers, grills and roasters to ensure proper cooking.
• Pull frozen items for thawing in refrigeration and maintain accurate food logs.
• Ensure correct portioning, arrangement and garnish of dishes.
• Monitor food quality and quantity, informing the Chef of excess items for daily specials.
• Communicate assistance needs during busy periods and update service staff on menu specials and out‑of‑stock items.
• Follow all company, safety and security policies, reporting maintenance needs and completing required safety training.
• Maintain a clean, professional uniform and protect company assets and confidential information.

Required profile

• Technical, trade or vocational school degree related to culinary arts.
• Minimum of 3 years relevant food‑preparation experience.
• No supervisory experience required.
• Eligibility to work locally in Qatar (Nigerian nationals only as specified).
