Civil Inspector – Infrastructure Projects

About the role

The Civil Inspector will carry out civil and structural inspections on site, ensuring that all works comply with project specifications and regulatory standards. This role involves close collaboration with contractors, engineers, and project managers to maintain high quality and safety standards across large‑scale infrastructure projects.

Key responsibilities

• Perform civil and structural inspections on site, checking materials for quality, compliance, and suitability before approval.
• Conduct comprehensive quality checks to verify adherence to design drawings, construction standards, and relevant codes.
• Document inspection findings, test results, and observations in detailed reports and maintain organized records of all certifications and approvals.
• Identify defects, non‑conformities, and deviations from specifications, escalating issues to project management.
• Carry out material testing and measurements to confirm that specifications are met.

Required profile

• BSc in Civil Engineering or equivalent professional qualification.
• Minimum 10 years of professional experience in civil and structural inspection, particularly on mega water and wastewater facilities such as pump stations, shafts, and sewage treatment plants.
• Proven expertise in quality assurance and quality control inspections on large‑scale infrastructure projects.
• Strong knowledge of building codes, construction standards, and regulatory compliance requirements.
