Civil Technician

About the role

We are seeking a skilled Civil Technician to join our infrastructure team. The role involves inspecting, assessing, and maintaining civil structures across power plants, utilities, oil & gas, and heavy‑construction sites.

Key responsibilities

• Inspect and evaluate civil structures, identify defects and recommend or execute repairs.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, prepare site layouts, specifications and cost estimates.
• Conduct quality‑control and field testing of concrete, asphalt, soil and aggregates in line with ASTM standards.
• Perform material quantity calculations, bearing‑capacity tests, concrete‑strength testing and sampling.
• Support civil‑engineering projects by providing technical documentation and maintenance recommendations.

Required profile

• Diploma in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in civil construction, maintenance or infrastructure projects within power plants, utilities, oil & gas, industrial or heavy‑construction sectors.
• Strong knowledge of engineering drawings, site layout planning, quantity calculations, cost estimation and civil‑maintenance planning.
• Hands‑on experience with concrete, soil, aggregate and asphalt testing, structural inspections and defect assessment following ASTM quality‑control standards.
