Cloud DevOps Engineer

About the role

Systems Limited – Middle East & Africa (Techvista) is seeking an experienced Cloud DevOps Engineer to design, implement, automate, and support secure, scalable, and reliable cloud infrastructure and application delivery platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Design, deploy, configure, and maintain Microsoft Azure infrastructure and platform services, including landing zones, subscriptions, networking, compute, storage, identity, and governance.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, automating build, testing, security validation, deployment, and rollback across multiple environments.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code with Terraform and Bicep/ARM templates, and manage containerized workloads with Docker, Kubernetes, AKS, and OpenShift.
• Create and maintain Helm charts and Kubernetes manifests, and apply DevSecOps practices such as RBAC, secrets management, and vulnerability remediation.
• Develop automation scripts using PowerShell, Bash, Python, Azure CLI, and REST APIs, and support monitoring, logging, dashboards, and alerting.
• Participate in production incident response, root‑cause analysis, and corrective actions, while optimizing cloud cost and resource utilization.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in Cloud Engineering, DevOps, SRE, Platform or Infrastructure Engineering.
• Strong hands‑on experience with Microsoft Azure in enterprise production environments.
• Proven expertise with Azure DevOps, Terraform, Docker, Kubernetes (AKS/OpenShift), and scripting languages.
• Experience implementing observability solutions (Datadog, Azure Monitor, Prometheus, Grafana) and DevSecOps controls.
• Ability to work in Agile teams and collaborate with cross‑functional technical groups.
