Cloud Engineer – Azure Solutions Architect

About the role

We are looking for a Cloud Engineer with Solutions Architect‑level expertise to manage and secure our Microsoft cloud ecosystem. You will be responsible for end‑to‑end administration of Azure services, ensuring high availability, compliance, and cost efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Provision and manage Azure resources such as VMs, storage, networking, and Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) host pools.
• Administer Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) and the TAWASOL environment, performing monthly health checks and continuous patching.
• Implement Role‑Based Access Control (RBAC), Azure Policies, and M365 security standards (DLP, MFA, MDM).
• Monitor cloud spend with Azure Cost Management and set up budget alerts.
• Configure Azure Backup Vault and Recovery Services for disaster recovery.
• Manage Azure Security Center, Microsoft Sentinel, and enforce compliance through Azure Policy.
• Administer Office 365 E5, SharePoint Online, and the Teams cloud phone system.
• Deploy and maintain Microsoft Intune for device enrollment, MDM policies, and conditional access.

Required profile

• Solutions Architect‑level experience with Microsoft Azure.
• Mandatory Microsoft Azure Solutions Architect Expert certification.
