Coding for Kids Trainer

About the role

This part‑time, on‑site position in Doha focuses on delivering engaging coding lessons to children. You will use kid‑friendly platforms such as Scratch and introductory Python to spark interest in programming and develop foundational skills.

Key responsibilities

• Design and deliver age‑appropriate coding lessons and projects.
• Create hands‑on activities that align with curriculum goals.
• Monitor student progress, provide constructive feedback, and keep accurate attendance records.
• Collaborate with academic coordinators to continuously improve the curriculum.
• Communicate learner progress to parents or guardians when required.
• Support STEM workshops, coding camps, and promotional events.

Required profile

• Strong understanding of programming fundamentals such as logic, loops, conditionals, and variables.
• Proven experience teaching or mentoring children in a classroom or training setting.
• Ability to adapt explanations and activities to diverse learning styles and age groups.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Education or a related field; teaching certifications are a plus.
• Excellent communication, classroom management, and interpersonal skills.
