Commis 2 – Kitchen Assistant (Hotel)

About the role

Join a vibrant hotel kitchen within the Accor network as a Commis 2. You will support senior chefs in daily operations, ensuring that every dish meets the brand’s quality and presentation standards while contributing to a clean and safe work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation, cooking, and plating of menu items according to established recipes.
• Support senior chefs with ingredient preparation, portioning, and mise en place.
• Maintain timely service while preserving consistency and quality of food.
• Keep workstations, equipment, and storage areas clean and organized.
• Adhere to food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards at all times.
• Monitor stock levels and report shortages or waste to the Chef de Partie.

Required profile

• Previous experience in a similar kitchen role, preferably in a hotel or restaurant.
• Basic knowledge of food preparation techniques, food safety, and hygiene standards.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced environment and as part of a team.
• Culinary certification or relevant training is an advantage.
