About the role
Join Hilton’s hotel kitchen team in Doha as a Commis Chef, where you will help create memorable dining experiences for guests while learning essential culinary skills.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare and set up kitchen equipment and workstations before service.
- Assemble and prepare ingredients for daily menu items and simple dishes according to recipes.
- Assist in food preparation and timely service delivery.
- Follow portion‑control and presentation standards.
- Receive, check, store deliveries using FIFO and food‑safety guidelines.
- Maintain clean, organized storage areas and clean workstations after use.
- Handle waste, recycling and linen following hygiene procedures.
- Adhere to HACCP, food‑safety checklists and personal hygiene rules.
Required profile
- A passion for hospitality and delivering warm guest experiences.
- Integrity, teamwork, ownership and a sense of urgency.
