Commis Chef – Millies Lounge

About the role

The Ned Doha is seeking a motivated Commis Chef to join the Millies Lounge team, delivering high‑quality Italian dishes in a luxury hospitality setting.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation and cooking of dishes, ensuring the highest standards of quality and presentation.
• Support the kitchen team during service and contribute to the smooth day‑to‑day operation of the restaurant.
• Prepare ingredients, sauces, pasta, and other menu items according to established recipes and standards.
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation within the work area at all times.
• Adhere to food safety, hygiene, and health regulations.
• Work closely with senior chefs to continuously improve culinary skills and knowledge.

Required profile

• Previous experience as a Commis Chef in luxury hospitality.
• Knowledge of Italian cuisine, ingredients, and cooking techniques.
• Passion for food, attention to detail, and commitment to quality.
• Strong willingness to learn and develop within a professional kitchen.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast‑paced environment.
• Positive attitude, strong teamwork skills, and a proactive approach to work.
• Basic understanding of food safety and HACCP standards.
