Commis I – Bakery & Pastry

About the role

Prepare and produce breads, pastries, cakes, desserts, and other bakery items for Four Seasons Resort and Residences at The Pearl‑Qatar, maintaining the brand’s high standards of quality and presentation.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and produce breads, pastries, cakes, desserts and other bakery products according to approved recipes.
• Ensure consistency in product quality, taste, texture, portioning and presentation.
• Perform mixing, baking, decorating, finishing and other pastry production processes.
• Monitor daily production requirements and ensure timely preparation of assigned items.
• Minimize food wastage and maintain effective portion and cost control.
• Operate and maintain bakery and pastry equipment, reporting any defects.
• Support the Bakery & Pastry Chef during daily operations, functions and special events.
• Perform other reasonable duties as assigned by the supervisor or management.

Required profile

• Experience in a luxury restaurant or related hospitality environment.
• Background in French pastry is an advantage.
• Excellent command of English.
• Good eye for detail and strong attention to quality.
