Commis III – Al Liwan Kitchen

About the role

The Al Liwan Kitchen at The Ritz‑Carlton Doha is seeking a Commis III to support food preparation and cooking operations. This full‑time, onsite position involves handling ingredients, operating kitchen equipment, and maintaining high standards of hygiene and quality.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare ingredients by chopping, weighing, portioning, and storing food.
• Wash, peel, and prep fresh fruits and vegetables.
• Measure, mix, and cook food according to recipes and quality standards.
• Operate ovens, stoves, grills, microwaves, and fryers safely.
• Monitor cooking progress, test food for doneness, and ensure proper presentation.
• Set up and break down work stations, and maintain a clean, disinfected kitchen environment.
• Check appliance and food temperatures for compliance.
• Follow all safety, security, and company policies, reporting any hazards or incidents.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of one year of related kitchen experience.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift up to 25 lb and perform repetitive motions throughout the shift.
• Professional appearance and commitment to confidentiality and asset protection.
