Commis III Kitchen Assistant

About the role

The Commis III supports the culinary team at a luxury hotel in Doha, preparing ingredients, cooking, and maintaining a clean, safe kitchen environment. This full‑time position is ideal for individuals with basic culinary training and a passion for food service.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and portion ingredients, wash, peel, and chop fruits and vegetables.
• Weigh, measure, mix, and cook foods according to recipes and quality standards.
• Operate ovens, stoves, grills, microwaves, and fryers safely.
• Monitor food quality, test doneness, and ensure proper presentation.
• Set up and break down work stations, serve food in correct portions, and maintain cleanliness of kitchen areas and equipment.
• Check and record appliance and food temperatures.
• Follow all company safety, security, and hygiene policies.

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• At least 1 year of related kitchen or food‑service experience.
• No supervisory experience required.
• Ability to stand, walk, lift up to 25 lb and perform repetitive motions.
