Construction Lead (HVAC) – Offshore Project

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Construction Lead (HVAC) to oversee hook‑up and commissioning activities for an offshore compression project in Qatar. The role is on‑site, full‑time, and reports to the Head of Construction.

Key responsibilities

• Provide HUC oversight and direction to the main contractor, subcontractors and vendors.
• Collaborate with facilities, EPC engineers and operations personnel.
• Support EPC PMT by reviewing critical documents, technical proposals and deviations.
• Attend workshops, review meetings and conduct shop inspections and factory testing as required.
• Assess contractor manpower loading and recommend adjustments.
• Develop recovery plans to address schedule delays and ensure milestone compliance.
• Verify EPC reports, sign off test and check sheets, and participate in quality audits.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in applied sciences or engineering.
• Minimum 10 years experience in large‑scale oil & gas construction projects, including at least 1 year in a supervisory or oversight role.
• In‑depth knowledge of design standards, specifications, codes and safety criteria for offshore facilities.
