Contract / Cost Engineer

About the role

ISS International Qatar WLL is seeking a Contract / Cost Engineer to join its Turnaround Section in Mesaieed. The role focuses on managing the full contract lifecycle for high‑value goods and services, ensuring cost‑effective delivery while protecting company interests.

Key responsibilities

• Establish and maintain an effective contract lifecycle for turnaround projects.
• Coordinate with senior engineers and other trades to ensure smooth execution of turnaround contracting services.
• Communicate with Finance, Commercial and Supply Chain teams to verify data quality in the turnaround management system.
• Evaluate contractor plans, procedures and performance against project requirements.
• Support the development of the long‑term Turnaround Future Capex Plan in collaboration with Finance.
• Develop and maintain a cost database aligned with industry best practices.
• Assist the Senior Contracts & Logistics Engineer in preparing statistical reports and updating control procedures.
• Analyze scopes of work, plan tendering processes, obtain approvals and manage procurement activities.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years (120 months) of experience in contract and cost engineering, preferably in turnaround or capital procurement projects.
• Proven ability to work with senior engineering and cross‑functional teams.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
