Contracts Specialist

About the role

Parsons is seeking a Contracts Specialist to manage contract administration and procurement for large‑scale construction projects in Doha. The role involves overseeing the full tendering cycle, maintaining vendor data, and ensuring contractual compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end procurement processes, including RFP preparation, bid evaluation, shortlisting, and award.
• Prepare and review project‑related contracts, ensuring alignment with scope, deliverables, and client objectives.
• Maintain and update the vendor database, track pricing, delivery times, and performance scorecards.
• Monitor contractor performance, manage variations, change orders, and resolve disputes in coordination with legal and finance teams.
• Generate financial statements and MIS reports related to contract execution.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related discipline.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in construction management, tendering, and contract administration.
• Proven knowledge of commercial, technical and legal contract terms and local regulations.
• Strong communication skills in English and Arabic.

Required skills

• Proficiency with standard PC software packages used for contract administration.
• Ability to analyse bids, negotiate with suppliers, and manage vendor performance.
