About the role
We are looking for a Cook III – Pastry to join our culinary team at The Ritz‑Carlton in Doha. The role involves preparing and cooking pastry items to the highest quality and presentation standards while adhering to food safety and hygiene protocols.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare and cook pastry dishes according to recipes, quality and presentation standards.
- Portion, chop, and store ingredients safely before use.
- Operate baking, measuring tools and kitchen appliances in a safe manner.
- Follow food safety handling policies and personal hygiene procedures.
- Monitor and record correct temperatures of food and equipment, reporting any issues.
- Wash, disinfect and set‑up/break‑down the kitchen work station following sanitation procedures.
Required profile
- High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
- Less than one year of related pastry experience.
- No supervisory experience required.
Required skills
- Personal hygiene procedures.
- Food safety handling policies.
- Sanitation and cleaning procedures.
- Use of measuring tools.
- Operation of kitchen appliances.
