Core Banking Specialist

About the role

The Core Banking Specialist will administer, monitor and resolve issues related to the bank's Core Banking Systems, primarily Temenos solutions. The role ensures effective utilization of applications, delivering cost‑effective solutions for bank users while maintaining high performance and stability.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and manage Temenos Transact and Temenos Payment Hub to minimise response time and maximise efficiency.
• Coordinate with product development teams to migrate new products, provide technical support for IT projects, and ensure solutions meet business and operational requirements.
• Oversee vendor relationships, ensure support standards are followed, and work closely with third‑party vendors to enhance application performance and stability.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT Engineering or equivalent.
• 5‑8 years of relevant IT experience, preferably in the banking sector.

Required skills

• Temenos Arrangement Architecture (AA) and Temenos Payment Hub (TPH).
• ISO 20022 Messaging, Local RTGS, SEPA, SWIFT‑MX, ACH.
• Temenos T24 Transact implementation and upgrade, Temenos Data Hub, COB Management.
• Core L3 Java Development, Extensibility Framework, T24 Integration Framework, API integrations.
• Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL databases; JBoss, WebSphere, WebLogic, ActiveMQ, IBM MQ.
