Cost Controller – Multi‑Outlet Food & Beverage Group

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Cost Controller to join a growing multi‑outlet food and beverage group in Qatar. The role focuses on monitoring food and beverage costs, inventory, purchasing controls, and overall financial performance across all outlets and the central kitchen.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and control food, beverage and operational costs across multiple outlets.
• Prepare and maintain accurate recipe, menu and standard costing.
• Conduct regular stock counts, inventory reconciliation and variance analysis.
• Analyse purchasing, receiving, transfers and consumption to identify discrepancies.
• Collaborate with Purchasing, Stores, Kitchen and Operations teams to improve cost controls.
• Prepare cost, variance and management reports; support P&L analysis.
• Review supplier pricing and ensure compliance with approved costs.
• Monitor POS transactions, sales data and inventory consumption.
• Assist the Finance Manager with budgeting, forecasting and financial analysis.

Required profile

• 4–6 years of experience in cost control, cost accounting or a similar role.
• Strong background in F&B, restaurants or multi‑outlet hospitality operations.
• Excellent understanding of food and beverage costing, recipe costing and inventory management.
• Good knowledge of P&L and financial reporting.
• Ability to work closely with chefs, purchasing, stores, finance and operations teams.
• Experience in GCC/Qatar is an advantage.
