About the role
The Credit Officer will evaluate credit card applications, verify applicant information, and ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory standards. This role supports the bank's credit risk management and customer service functions.
Key responsibilities
- Review credit card applications, analysing credit histories, income and other financial data to assess creditworthiness.
- Process applications, coordinate decisions on approvals, declines or credit limit adjustments according to scoring models.
- Maintain accurate records, generate reports on application volumes, approval rates and risk trends.
- Support internal and external audits by ensuring documentation is complete and compliant.
Required profile
- Minimum 3 years experience in banking or financial sector.
- Fluent in English and Arabic.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
