Crew Training and Recovery Officer – Training Planning

About the role

Join the Crew Training Planning & Qualifications team in Doha as a Crew Training & Recovery Officer. You will coordinate and manage the recovery of training disruptions for both Flight Deck and Cabin Crew, ensuring compliance with QCAA regulations and maintaining operational readiness.

Key responsibilities

• Perform delegated desk‑based duties during the shift according to CCTR procedures.
• Conduct daily checks on trainer/trainee rosters to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Schedule training recoveries as recommended by Fleet Training Management, ensuring timely and cost‑effective execution.
• Carry out daily quality audits to verify compliance with trainer and trainee usage rules.
• Fill vacant trainee/instructor slots in line with company and QCAA requirements.
• Monitor training results, adjust crew rosters or escalate issues as needed.
• Resolve active alerts promptly and optimise instructor utilisation.
• Communicate training changes to stakeholders for planning and action.
• Schedule ground, simulator and line training within stipulated times.
• Coordinate operations for the next 48 hours and beyond to maximise training device capacity.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with at least 3 years of relevant experience.
• Previous experience in flight operations or crew training and development is desirable.
• Ability to manage training disruptions while adhering to procedures and standards.
• Sound knowledge of aviation regulatory requirements and crew management systems.
• Excellent organisational, coordination and problem‑solving skills in a fast‑paced environment.
