Customer Service Agent – Talent Pool

About the role

The Customer Service Agent will handle short, medium‑haul and private flights, ensuring safe and correct loading of aircraft catering according to the Galley Loading Plan and Food Safety standards. You will work closely with QACC, Bond Stores and Duty‑Free teams to dispatch flights on time and provide accurate handover to cabin crew.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, load and dispatch catering for assigned flights following Qatar Airways Catering System (QCATS) or other airlines' requirements.
• Ensure on‑time loading in line with the Airline Specification, Galley Loading Plan and Food Safety standards.
• Document food temperatures at critical control points using calibrated probe guns.
• Safeguard issued tablets, radios, PPE and temperature probes.
• Record start and completion times for each flight assignment and generate reports for delays or incidents.
• Coordinate with senior staff and external parties during emergencies or operational irregularities.

Required profile

• High school qualification with at least 1 year of relevant experience, or a Bachelor’s degree (no experience required).
• Knowledge of Galley Loading Plan (GLP), menu specifications, load matrix and menu cycles.
• Familiarity with various aircraft galley layouts and loading restrictions.
• Excellent liaison and problem‑solving abilities.
• Flexibility to work varied hours and perform under pressure.
• Good written and spoken English communication skills.

Required skills

• Knowledge of Galley Loading Plan (GLP) and related loading procedures.
• Familiarity with aircraft galley configurations.
• Computer literacy for using catering and reporting systems.
• Basic understanding of Food Safety and Airside Safety standards.
