About the role
Madre Integrated Engineering is looking for a Deck Foreman in Doha within the oil and gas sector. The role supervises the deck crew and daily marine operations, coordinating lifting, rigging, mooring, loading and unloading activities.
Key responsibilities
- Supervise the deck crew and daily marine operations
- Coordinate lifting, rigging, mooring, loading and unloading activities
- Ensure safe use of deck equipment and lifting gear
- Conduct toolbox talks and enforce HSE requirements
- Coordinate with crane operators, riggers, banksmen and marine crew
- Maintain deck housekeeping and report equipment defects
Required profile
- Minimum 5 years of marine/deck experience
- Experience as Deck Foreman or senior deck crew
- Experience on vessels, barges, shipyards, ports or marine projects
- Good leadership and communication skills
- Relevant marine/rigging certifications preferred
