About the role
The Demi Chef de Partie will support the kitchen team in delivering high‑quality meals, ensuring consistency with recipes, presentation standards, and guest expectations at a luxury hotel in Doha.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare special meals and substitute items following recipes and quality standards.
- Regulate temperature of ovens, broilers, grills and roasters, and manage food thawing and storage.
- Maintain food logs, ensure proper portioning, arrangement and garnish, and monitor food quality and quantity.
- Communicate with chefs and service staff about specials, out‑of‑stock items and excess food usage.
- Assist in hiring, training, scheduling and evaluating team members as needed.
Required profile
- Technical, trade or vocational school degree.
- Minimum 3 years of related culinary experience.
- No supervisory experience required.
Required skills
- Food preparation and cooking according to recipes.
- Temperature regulation of ovens, broilers, grills and roasters.
- Portion control, food arrangement and garnish.
- Cold food preparation and food log maintenance.
