Director of Finance – Luxury Hotel in Doha

About the role

The International Hotel Group is seeking an experienced Director of Finance to lead the financial function of a flagship luxury hotel in Doha. You will partner closely with the General Manager and senior leadership team to drive profitability, ensure robust financial control, and support strategic commercial decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Provide full financial leadership for the property, including budgeting, forecasting and financial reporting.
• Monitor and improve Gross Operating Profit (GOP) through cost control and revenue optimization.
• Prepare and present owner and asset‑management reports in line with international brand standards.
• Support operational decision‑making with commercial insight and financial analysis.
• Lead and develop the finance team, ensuring compliance with internal policies and external regulations.

Required profile

• Current or recent experience as Director of Finance within a hotel environment.
• Strong background in luxury, upper‑upscale or large international branded hotels.
• Preferably experience in the UAE or GCC region.
• Excellent budgeting, forecasting and financial reporting capabilities.
• Demonstrated leadership, communication and stakeholder‑management skills.

Required skills

• Advanced financial modelling and analysis.
• Proficiency in hotel finance systems and reporting tools.
• Strong understanding of cost control and GOP improvement techniques.
