About the role
We are looking for a reliable Dock Worker to support safe docking and berthing operations at our port facility. The role involves handling blocks, operating lifting equipment and assisting with various marine activities to ensure vessels are secured efficiently.
Key responsibilities
- Place blocks according to docking/berthing plans using forklifts and other lifting equipment.
- Assist with block arrangement, vessel maneuvering, load testing, boat lifting, launching and anchor chain operations.
- Follow all safety, quality and environmental procedures and standard operating instructions.
- Perform housekeeping tasks after marine activities are completed.
- Carry out any additional dock‑worker duties as directed.
Required profile
- Secondary education.
- At least 2 years of experience in the marine or port industry.
- Working knowledge of English, able to read risk assessments and toolbox talks.
- Basic understanding of lifting gear and safety protocols.

- Forklift operation.
