Domain Support Manager – Qatarization

About the role

The incumbent will manage assignments and resources within QNB’s Domain Support department, supporting the Senior Manager and ensuring smooth operation of critical banking systems. This position involves shadowing senior leadership on projects, communications and technical responsibilities while maintaining high service levels for internal users.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure all bank areas are supported with compliant computer systems and implement KPIs and best practices.
• Maintain and update system profiles, apply security patches, and manage endpoint agents (Ivanti SentinelOne, anti‑virus, GIS agents).
• Perform disaster‑recovery simulations, backup verifications and manage change requests, trouble tickets and service requests.
• Oversee technology domains including Microsoft Infrastructure (Active Directory, Exchange, SCOM, Windows Server).NET applications, security services (Trellix, DLP, FIM), Citrix XenApp/VDI, and cloud platforms (Azure, Google Cloud).
• Provide internal and external customer support in line with SLA commitments and build strong inter‑departmental relationships.
• Assist recruitment, motivate staff, enforce performance standards and promote QNB values.
• Identify professional development opportunities, pursue certifications (MCSA, MCSE) and stay current with Microsoft and related technologies.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering.
• Minimum 6 years of experience in technical support services, including system design, implementation and maintenance across multiple platforms.
• Experience in IT‑related management within a banking or large‑enterprise environment.
