Driver – Transportation & Logistics

About the role

Central Ventilation Systems (CVS) is looking for a reliable driver to support local operations in Doha, transporting personnel, materials and finished goods between the factory, warehouse and client sites.

Key responsibilities

• Operate company vehicles for scheduled pickups and deliveries across Doha, following assigned routes and timetables.
• Load and unload equipment and packaged goods carefully, securing cargo to prevent damage during transit.
• Conduct pre‑ and post‑trip vehicle inspections, report maintenance needs and coordinate basic preventive maintenance.
• Maintain accurate delivery logs, mileage records and required paperwork, obtaining signatures on delivery receipts when applicable.
• Follow health, safety and security procedures, including safe lifting techniques and proper use of PPE on site.
• Assist the warehouse team with related operational tasks.

Required profile

• Valid Qatar driving licence for the assigned vehicle class and a clean driving record.
• Minimum two years’ experience driving in urban Doha, preferably in delivery or logistics within construction/manufacturing.
• Good knowledge of Doha road network, local traffic regulations and defensive driving practices.
• Cargo handling skills, including safe lifting, securing loads and use of hand trolley and straps.
• Basic vehicle maintenance awareness, such as daily checks of oil, tyres and lights.
• Clear communication skills in English; Arabic proficiency is a plus.
