Duty Manager – Hotel Operations

About the role

The Duty Manager will ensure seamless guest experiences at Banana Island Resort Doha By Anantara, acting as the primary point of contact for guest inquiries and service delivery. This role requires a thorough understanding of the hotel’s product range, from rooms and rates to food & beverage outlets and spa facilities.

Key responsibilities

• Anticipate and respond to guest needs, handling inquiries with attentiveness and professionalism.
• Maintain comprehensive knowledge of room types, rates, facilities, promotions, and ancillary services across Minor Hotels properties.
• Oversee the quality and attitude of guest service, ensuring it meets Minor Hotels’ high standards at all times.
• Take ownership of guest satisfaction issues, following up promptly to resolve concerns.
• Suggest proactive and innovative alternatives to enhance the guest experience.
• Foster collaborative relationships with all hotel departments.
• Conduct daily shift briefings, communicating essential information to team members.

Required profile

• Degree in Hospitality Management or a related field.
• Experience working in 4‑5 star hotels in the Middle East.
• Supervisory experience in a Front Office environment.
• Excellent command of English (oral and written); Arabic is an advantage.
• Highly organized, results‑oriented, and flexible with working hours and duties.
• Ability to perform under pressure in a fast‑paced, constantly changing environment.
