About the role
We are seeking a proactive Duty Manager to lead guest‑service operations at Banana Island Resort Doha by Anantara. You will ensure every guest experience meets the high standards of Minor Hotels while supporting a dynamic, luxury‑focused environment.
Key responsibilities
- Anticipate and respond to guest needs and inquiries with attentive service.
- Maintain comprehensive knowledge of hotel products, room types, rates, food & beverage outlets, spa, health club, and other Minor Hotel properties.
- Oversee the quality and attitude of guest service delivery, ensuring compliance with Minor Hotels standards.
- Take ownership of guest satisfaction issues, following up promptly and offering innovative solutions.
- Foster collaborative relationships with all hotel departments.
- Conduct daily shift briefings, communicating essential information to team members.
Required profile
- Degree in Hospitality Management or a related field.
- Experience in 4‑5 star hotels in the Middle East, preferably in supervisory Front Office roles.
- Excellent command of English (oral and written); Arabic is a plus.
- Highly organized, results‑oriented, and flexible with working hours.
- Ability to perform under pressure in a fast‑paced, ever‑changing environment.
Required skills
- Proficiency with the OPERA Cloud property management system.
