Early Years Teacher – Nursery/Reception

About the role
Compass International School Doha is seeking a passionate Early Years Teacher to lead a Nursery or Reception class. You will create a nurturing, stimulating, and safe environment where young children can explore, play, and develop essential skills.
Key responsibilities
- Plan and deliver child‑initiated play and structured focus activities.
- Facilitate learning through continuous provision in a free‑flow environment.
- Maintain a safe, inclusive classroom atmosphere.
- Assess and monitor pupil progress, providing feedback to parents.
- Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and contribute to school initiatives.
Required profile
- University degree and a recognised teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE/QTS).
- Ideally two years of experience teaching Early Years or Year 1.
- Reflective practitioner committed to continuous professional development.
- Strong communication skills for engaging with parents and diverse audiences.
- Eligibility to meet Qatar visa requirements.
