Electrical & Instrument Engineer – Project Execution/Construction

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Electrical & Instrument Engineer to lead the site supervision of instrument and electrical works for both online and shutdown projects. The role involves ensuring installations comply with approved drawings, schedules, and safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise all instrument and electrical construction activities on‑site, verifying progress against schedules and drawings.
• Coordinate with contractors and subcontractors to guarantee quality, health, safety and environmental compliance.
• Conduct safety walks, quality surveillance, and prepare related reports, ensuring timely closure of actions.
• Plan and oversee pre‑commissioning and commissioning activities, including participation in pre‑startup safety reviews.
• Produce field progress reports, identify contractual non‑conformities and report KPIs for construction performance.
• Ensure all work meets QAFCO HSE requirements and local authority regulations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Instrument, Electronic or Control Engineering.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in fertilizer, oil & gas or petrochemical industries.
• Proven project experience managing field instrumentation, process control, safety shutdown systems and related electrical installations.
• Experience reviewing technical documents, preparing job safety analyses, method statements and conducting QA/QC reviews.
