Electrical Technician

About the role

We are looking for a skilled Electrical Technician to join our maintenance team, ensuring the reliable operation of electrical equipment in industrial environments such as oil & gas, petrochemical, and utilities facilities. The role involves hands‑on work with a variety of electrical systems, from control panels to high‑power transformers.

Key responsibilities

• Install, inspect, maintain and repair electrical systems, equipment and control panels.
• Test and troubleshoot motors, switchgear, transformers and electrical circuits.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance to maximise equipment availability.
• Ensure all work complies with electrical safety standards, HSE procedures and company policies.

Required profile

• Diploma in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Technology.
• Valid Electrical License or equivalent certification.
• 3–5 years of experience in electrical maintenance within oil & gas, petrochemical, utilities or other industrial facilities.

Required skills

• Electrical systems installation and maintenance.
• Control panel wiring and troubleshooting.
• Motor, switchgear and transformer servicing.
• Electrical circuit diagnostics.
• Preventive and corrective maintenance techniques.
• Knowledge of electrical safety standards and HSE requirements.
