Electrical Technician – Maintenance & Repair

About the role

The Electrical Technician is responsible for performing preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical equipment, supporting the team, and contributing to departmental improvement initiatives. The role also includes reporting faults to engineers and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out assigned Planned Preventive Maintenance (PPM) tasks accurately and on schedule.
• Execute corrective maintenance tasks promptly and ensure high‑quality workmanship.
• Assist subcontractors with their assigned work and ensure proper coordination.
• Report defects, breakdowns, damages, and spare‑part requirements to the Fault Reporting Center or designated engineers.
• Follow duty rosters, tool‑care procedures, and all instructions from supervisors and engineers.
• Perform any other related duties as assigned.

Required profile

• ITI Certificate/Diploma or equivalent technical qualification.
• Knowledge of relevant regulations such as OSHA, MSDS, NFPA, and BS standards.
• Strong problem‑solving abilities and capacity to work under tight deadlines.
• Team‑oriented mindset with good collaboration skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency in using test tools and electrical measurement equipment.
